The medium-range scanning wind lidar adopts the optical heterodyne detection principle. It mixes atmospheric echo signals with local oscillator laser signals to extract the Doppler shift of aerosols or molecules for group velocity calculation, thereby realizing atmospheric wind field measurement. It delivers high wind measurement accuracy and robust detection performance under clear sky conditions.
Featuring high spatiotemporal resolution and fast data transmission, the lidar operates safely and reliably. It is widely used in atmospheric science, environmental meteorology, marine atmospheric observation, wind energy monitoring and other fields, and can be installed on ships or buoy platforms.
