The miniature wind lidar adopts the optical heterodyne detection principle. It mixes atmospheric echo signals with local oscillator laser to extract the Doppler shift of aerosols or molecules for group velocity calculation, so as to realize atmospheric wind field measurement. It features high wind measurement accuracy and outstanding detection performance under clear sky conditions.
With high spatiotemporal resolution, fast data transmission, safe and stable operation, this lidar is applied to atmospheric science, environmental meteorology, marine atmosphere, wind energy monitoring and other fields, and can be mounted on ships or buoy platforms.
