Balanced Photodetector

Balanced Photodetector

The PIN balanced photodetector is a high-precision radiation detector featuring excellent energy resolution and detection efficiency. It can accurately measure various types of radiant energy while delivering fast response and high stability. The balanced photodetector converts two beat optical wave signals into electrical signals, suppresses excess intensity noise from local oscillator light, amplifies intermediate frequency signals, and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
The PIN balanced photodetector boasts simple structure, easy operation, high sensitivity, high gain, wide bandwidth, low noise and strong anti-interference capability. It can operate stably under various harsh environments and is mainly applied for signal detection of wind measurement lidars.
