Background & Requirements

The visibility lidar is based on the backscattering effect between laser and atmospheric aerosol particles, which can achieve spatial distributed measurement of visibility and detect the spatial distribution of advection fog within a range of 10km. The visibility lidar is equipped with a scanning module, which can achieve full sky scanning, and the scanning range can basically cover the entire area near the airport. The airport advection fog online monitoring platform can achieve dynamic observation of the formation, development, maintenance, and dissipation process of advection fog and mass fog.
